After graduating from The University of North London in 1989 with a BA Hons in Interior Design, Phil worked within several leading design companies based in London. Over a 20 year period he first specialized in creating 5 star hotels throughout the world such as the Lanesborough on Hyde Park Corner. the Schlosshotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Berlin, the Hilton Hotel in Malta and the Chola Sheraton Hotel in Madras, to name a few.
After joining AJC in 2000 Phil oversaw the design of numerous hotel and residential projects, including Malmaison Hotel in Smithfield, London, The Howard Hotel overlooking the Thames and West India Quay apartments at Canary Wharf.
MPS Design was formed so that the skills and knowledge acquired could be used on private smaller scale residential homes, to achieve a more personal and individually tailored design.
